Ray Kendrick Jr.
Ray Anthony Kendrick Jr. was born December 25, 1984 in Decatur Ga., to Mildred Collin-Williams (Collins) and Ray A. Kendrick Sr. He has an older sister Tijuana on his mom side and a younger brother Jamal on his dad side. He attended Dunwoody High School where he graduated in 2003. He excelled at track and participated in other sports and clubs. After graduating he went to the Columbus State University for 1 semester before transferring to the University of West Ga. While at West Ga he was a member of the football team and he joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated in 2005. During his time at West Ga he lost focused on what was most important and eventually left school to begin working full time. His first full time job he was a fork-lift operator up until he heard about an airline hiring. He applied over the phone was hired on the spot. He started working in the airline industry in August of 2007. He started off as a ramp agent until he got the job offer for flight attendant in 2011. He has been flying ever since and has been a stellar member to his airline. He is currently flying but has become more involved with management and the hotel committee at his job. He is also on the panel board for flight attendants to appeal any Performance Disciplinary action they may have received. He has a quote that he continuously uses to encourage himself and other, “Believe in yourself even when no one else does.” This is his first attempt at anything in the entertainment industry and he is excited and driven to see where this takes him.
